Invitation to the IOF Event Advisors’ Clinic
Linz, Austria, 20-22 February 2004

The Austrian Orienteering Federation  is pleased to invite you to the IOF Event Advisor's Clinic to be held in Linz, Austria, 20-22 February 2004.

This Event Advisor's Clinic is organised for the education and recruitment of new IOF licensed event advisors, especially in central Europe. The national orienteering federations are kindly asked to identify and enter suitable candidates.

Travel:

The clinic site is located in Linz. Linz is the capital of the Austrian region Upper Austria and has about 190.000 inhabitants. The clinic site can be reached by using the following transportation system:

From Airport Vienna:
Take Airportbus to Wien-Westbahnhof, take train to Linz (190 km), from Linz-Hauptbahnhof take tram line 3 (one station to “Goethekreuzung”, now tram 2 or 3 to “Universität” (final station), from there 5 minutes walk. Time from central station to hotel: ~ 40 minutes

From Airport Linz, take “Bahnbus” line 601 to “Goethekreuzung”, now tram 2 or 3 to “Universität” (final station), from there 5 minutes walk. Time from Linz Airport to hotel: ~ 70 minutes.

 

Programmme:

This clinic will consist of lectures, discussions and group works. The detailed programme will be sent to all participants and will be also available on www.oefol.at, www.orienteering.org
